By replacing your oil, gas, or wood furnace, or electric baseboard heating system with an energy-efficient electric heat pump, you can lower your heating and cooling costs, improve indoor comfort and air quality, and reduce your home’s environmental impact. Heat pumps provide efficient year-round heating and cooling while reducing dependence on fossil fuels and other high-energy-use heating systems.
With generous incentives available, there has never been a better time to make the switch.
How to Participate
Step 1: Contact participating contractors to schedule a free home visit and receive an estimate.
Step 2: Select a contractor and complete the installation. Your contractor will apply all eligible instant rebates directly to your invoice, including any limited-time bonus incentives available to income-qualified households.
Step 3: If replacing an oil furnace, decommission your oil tank (either by filling it in place or removing it) in accordance with the Kenmore Fire Code. Proper decommissioning helps prevent future leaks and environmental hazards from unused oil tanks.
